On August 27, 2025, the ISCC was invited to the Ambassador’s Roundtable, chaired by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Honorable Minister of Ports, Shipping, and Inland Waterways.

The event highlighted India’s growing role in global maritime trade, sustainable shipping, and the blue economy.

Shri Sonowal urged global partners to consider India as a hub for investment and innovation, highlighting the government’s roadmap for maritime investment, worth one trillion dollars.

The outcomes of the Roundtable will be integrated into IMW 2025, ensuring that the flagship biennial event addresses the priorities of stakeholders globally. The event took place at the Taj Mansingh Hotel in Delhi.
