On 15th September 2025, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an interactive session on Spain-India Trade Collaborations at Williamson Magor Hall, Kolkata.

The session offered a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and fostering collaborations to facilitate business expansion between Spain and India. The speakers included Mr. Arnab Basu, President of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Óscar Esteban, President of the Indo Spanish Chamber Of Commerce, and Mr. Sunil Kanoria, Member of Kanoria Foundation and Former Vice Chairman of Srei Infrastructure.

This session highlighted the opportunities for bilateral trade across sectors such as biotechnology, education, energy, food processing, pharmaceuticals, IT, agriculture, tourism, sports, engineering, automobile, and fashion. During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between both chambers to strengthen bilateral trade relations and foster future collaborations.
